Coming Home!

Greetings from home, after a great few days in Philly! The orchestra headed back to Western PA after a great week on our domestic tour to Montreal and then Philly. On our last night we played for approximately 7000 people at the Mann Center, a show that was all about the video game goddess, Zelda. It was so much fun to play for that many people, and we were fortunate to have so many people excited to listen to the PSO.

I took a couple pictures before the show, and some during as well. Enjoy!

Always great to see people in the seats!

We had a great time playing this show in Philly AND in Pittsburgh. Hope you enjoyed the pics. See you next year!

  • Thanks to all at the PSO for playing your hearts out with us over three concerts. There were some stunningly beautiful solos from the orchestra’s principal players – especially Huei-Shen Kao’s heart-wrenching violin – and an hilariously memorable comedic bassoon solo by David Sogg; I don’t think I’ve ever laughed out loud on the podium before!
I will be writing about the experience in my blog in the next couple of days: View From the Podium, Zelda Conductor Eímear Noone.
Very Best Wishes and thanks for a wonderful musical experience, Eímear xo
