Tickets go on sale Monday, April 30 for concerts in July
PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) will perform two spectacular concerts at Heinz Hall, based on one of the most popular and beloved games of all time, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses Tour.
The concerts will begin at 8 p.m., Friday, July 27, and Saturday, July 28. Tickets, ranging from $30 to $90, go on sale at 9 a.m., Monday, April 30, and can be purchased by calling the Heinz Hall box office at 412.392.4900, or visiting the PSO at www.pittsburghsymphony.org. The new four-movement symphony recounts the classic storylines from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
The concerts also will highlight orchestral renditions of music from other series games, including The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask.
Irish conductor Eímear Noone will lead the PSO, with arrangements by music director Chad Seiter.
