I can hardly believe that today is my final day with the Pittsburgh Symphony! These three months have flown by. I have really enjoyed working with the excellent staff, board and musicians of this orchestra. I’ve heard amazing concerts, participated in interesting meetings, and executed stimulating special projects. Throughout my year in the ASOL Orchestra Management Fellowship Program, it has been so valuable to observe and compare three very different orchestras (the Grand Rapids Symphony, the Spokane Symphony, and the PSO). Yet one trait these orchestras share is the ability to share beautiful and important music with their communities. I will miss Pittsburgh and all the wonderful people I’ve met here. Now I’m off to the ASOL conference in Nashville, job interviews, and the rest of my life. Thank you to everyone!
