KATHARINE McPHEE CANCELS GUEST APPEARANCE AT PSO’S PNC POPS CONCERTS IN SEPTEMBER

PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra (PSO) announced today guest artist Katharine McPhee will not be appearing with the orchestra at the PNC Pops concerts scheduled for Sept. 27-30. The PSO is working on finding another guest artist for the Sept. 27-30 concerts, which will be led by Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch.

McPhee had to cancel her appearance at the opening weekend of the PNC Pops’ 2012-2013 season because it conflicts with the production schedule of her hit television series, SMASH. The PSO is presently working on rescheduling her appearance at Heinz Hall, and will release details when they are available.

For more information, PSO subscribers should call 412.392.4900.
