The Chairman Dances – Elizabeth Perry

…and Andris Nelsons moves with choreographic verve.  What fun to bring my 13-year-old son to the concert.  He’s been learning to play the French horn, but hadn’t been to the symphony since grade school.  "Awesome," was his one-word review.

  • It is fun to bring youth to the PSO. I try to bring my daughter whenever I can. She was there with a friend last weekend.
Your painting is inspiring, and brings to mind a few recollections. I remember watching Nelsons with his sudden movements, poised to pronounce accent. I also noticed that he tended not to overtly move when there was no need.
